Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 11178, dated February 20, 1996, the Legislature authorized the County Executive to execute an agreement with the City of Kansas City, Missouri for animal shelter services; and,
WHEREAS, the County and the City of Kansas City now desire to enter into a First Addendum to said agreement at an increased cost to the County; and,
WHEREAS, the attached First Addendum to Agreement provides a suitable mechanism by which to implement this extension; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached First Addendum to Agreement for animal shelter services with the City of Kansas City; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the Agreement and the Addendum thereto...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
