INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator

Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 121-95 for the printing of permits for use by the Parks and Recreation Department to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,

WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Weldon, Williams, and Lick Co., of Fort Smith, AR; and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Weldon, Williams, and Lick Co., of Fort Smith, AR, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
