INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has two 1993 John Deer Gator 6x4 utility vehicles, Serial Numbers W006X4X4006638 and W006X4X013244, that have become excess property; and,
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Purchasing Director has declared these vehicles surplus; and,
WHEREAS, by Resolution 11719, dated April 21, 1997, the Legislature authorized the purchase of utility vehicles for use by the Parks and Recreation Department from Lawn & Leisure of Lee's Summit, MO; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing recommends that the surplus vehicles be used as trade-in to Lawn & Leisure, per bid specifications; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Purchasing is hereby authorized to dispose of the surplus property by way of a trade-in to Lawn & Leisure of Lee's Summit, MO, on the new utility vehicles...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
