Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written proposals on Request for Statement of Interest/Qualifications Bid No. 64-10 for the purchase of the furnishing of electronic home monitoring services for use by the Jackson County Office of Population Control; and,

WHEREAS, he has received in response thereto, proposals from the following:
VENDOR

Midwest ADP, Inc.
Independence, MO

General Services Security Corp.
Minneapolis, MN
and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Midwest ADP, Inc., of Independence, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
