WHEREAS, the County did, by notice to the Legislature of an emergency purchase order dated March 2 , 1995, enter into a contract with Dayco Painting, Inc. of Grandview, MO, for the repair and paint ng of the Independence Square Courthouse in the actual amount of $37,545.56; and, WHEREAS, the proposed increase to this contract is necessary to cover the cost of replacing glazin found to be in need of repair as the painting was being done, and this increase will not exceed $ 80.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the increase to the afo esaid contract is approved and the Director of Purchasing is authorized to execute the necessary d cuments on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payme ts including final payment on the contract.
