Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 92-98 for the furnishing of industrial v-belts for use by the Public Works Department; and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends that the contract be divided and awarded to the low, out of town bidder for bulk orders, and to a local bidder for emergency orders; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in the estimated awards for the respective vendors as follows:
VENDOR AWARD
I.S.P.D., LLC $6,500.00
Los Angeles, CA
Associated Bearing $500.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
