Body
WHEREAS, Tammie Nguyen recently graduated as the valedictorian of Northeast High School; and,
WHEREAS, Tammie graduated with a 3.933 GPA on a 4.0 scale; and,
WHEREAS, during high school, Tammie was involved in Viking VIP Club, National Honor Society, Robotics, and was a Northeast High School Ambassador; and,
WHEREAS, Tammie also gives back to the community, volunteering at Truman Medical Center, Harvesters, and St. Anthony's Catholic Church; and,
WHEREAS, Tammie has received the Superintendent's Leadership Scholarship in the amount of $2,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, Tammie plans to attend Maple Woods Community College in the fall and major in pre-med; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Tammie Nguyen on her designation as valedictorian of Northeast High School.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
