WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of a thirty-six (36) month term and supply contract for the furnishing of vending machine services for use by various County departments to the Swanson Corporation of Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 19-05 as the best bidder with a commission payment to the County; and,
WHEREAS, a total of fifteen (15) solicitations were distributed and three (3) responses were received as follows:

now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to Swanson Corp., for the furnishing of vending machine services for a term of thirty-six (36) months as recommended by the Director of Purchasing , and that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
