ORDINANCE 3003, March 13, 2000

Body
WHEREAS, Don and Jim Martin have requested the vacation of Lots 5-6 and the right-of-way of Martin Drive along with utility easement within the subdivision plat "Martin Estates," a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri; and,

WHEREAS, the legal description is as follows:
The 4.3 ± acres within the proposed plat vacation is located on the north side of Old Pink Hill Road, approximately 1/4 of a mile west of Missouri H Highway in Section 20, Township 49, Range 29 and is legally described as Lots 5-6 and the right-of-way of Martin Drive along with utility easements within the subdivision plat "Martin Estates", a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri.

WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 17, 2000, the Jackson County Plan Commission took up this request and voted to recommend the vacation; and,

WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of the County that Lots 5-6 and the right-of-way of Martin Drive along with utility easement within the subdivision plat "Martin Estates," a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri be vacated; therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Lots 5-6 and the right-of-way of Martin Drive along with utility easement within the subdivision plat "Martin Estates," a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri be and hereby is vacated.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
