Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for the furnishing of printing stationary, envelopes, and business cards for use by various County departments; and,

WHEREAS, a total of thirty (30) solicitations were distributed and eight (8) responses were was received. The following bids are recommended for award:
BIDDERS ITEMS RECOMMENDED
FOR AWARD

S&S Printing 1, 6, 7, 11, & 31
Oak Grove, MO

Service Printing & Graphics 2-5, 8-10, & 12-30
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

and,


WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve (12) month term and supply contract to Service Printing & Graphics of Kansas City, MO, and S&S Printing of Oak Grove, MO, under the terms and conditions of Electronic Solicitation No. BB200549 as the best and lowest bidders; and,

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchases is subject to annual appropriations; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Purchasing, and that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
