Body
WHEREAS, monies in the total amount of $1,027,777.00 are available for appropriation as a result of recent releases from the tax protest account and an increase in collector's fees; and,

WHEREAS, Ordinance 3642 has made necessary these appropriations to allow for the increased compensation for county employees set forth in that ordinance; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriations as an amendment to her 2005 proposed County budget; and,

WHEREAS, these appropriations are in the best interest of the county; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the appropriations set forth in Exhibit "A" be and are hereby made.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
