Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 116-00 for the furnishing of miscellaneous personal computer hardware and software for use by the Family Support Division of the Prosecuting Attorney's Office; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:

RCA Computer Corp. $6,096.50
Lomita, CA
PC Connection $6,099.40
Merrimack, NH
Computer Source, Inc. $6,336.07
Lenexa, KS
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Computer Source, Inc., of Lenexa, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the attached recapitulation and analysis; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
