Body
WHEREAS, the Collection Department has a continuing need for the printing and mailing of joint governmental tax bills, paid tax receipts, and envelopes; and,

WHEREAS, by Resolution 15599, dated August 15, 2005, the Legislature did authorize the award of a term and supply contract for printing and mailing of joint governmental tax bills, paid tax receipts, and envelopes for use by the Collection Department to Strahm Automation of Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of Electronic Solicitation No. BB 200584; and,

WHEREAS, the awarded contract provided the County with two (2) twelve (12) month extension options under the same terms and conditions; and,


WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the County exercise its option for two (2) twelve (12) month extension options of this term and supply contract for the printing and mailing joint governmental tax bills, paid tax receipts, inserts, and envelopes for use by the Collection Department to Strahm Automation of Kansas City, MO; and,

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchases is subject to annual appropriations; now therefore,
