Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends that the County enter into a Road Maintenance Agreement with the City of Buckner, MO, for 2006 and 2007 road maintenance and repair, a copy of which is attached hereto, at an estimated cost to the City of Buckner not to exceed $40,000.00 in 2006 and $124,000.00 in 2007; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the road maintenance and repair proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Buckner and the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and is hereby authorized to execute the attached Road Maintenance Agreement with the City of Buckner.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
