Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4441, dated August 27, 2012, the Legislature did authorize the execution of an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice's Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) to conduct a joint federal drug investigation; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance 4441 also authorized the appropriation of overtime costs incurred by the Jackson County Drug Task Force (JCDTF) that were reimbursed by the OCDETF, in the amount of $6,250.00; and,
WHEREAS, the JCDTF has received additional reimbursement of overtime funds related to this joint federal drug investigation, in the amount of $7,500.00; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the funds in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
