ORDINANCE 2843, September 8, 1998

Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:

Description: A 3.9 ñ acre tract of land generally located 2/10 of a mile east of Cook Road on the south side of Moreland School Road and more specifically described:

Beginning at a point 330 feet West of the NE corner of the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 8, Township 48, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri; said point being on the North Line of Said SE 1/4; thence N 87 45' 53" W for 315.00 feet along said North Line; thence S 2 04' 48" W and parallel to the East Line of said 1/4 1/4 for 540.00 feet; thence S 87 45' 53" for 315.00 feet; thence N 2 04' 48" E for 540.00 feet to the point of beginning aka 29003 E Moreland School Road.


Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Glenn Berry (RZ-98-115), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on August 20, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
