Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources has awarded the County a grant for stormwater planning assistance; and,
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has requested that the attached Stormwater Grant Agreement with the department be approved; and,
WHEREAS, this agreement is in the best interest of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the attached Stormwater Grant Agreement with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and any and all other documents necessary to effect the acceptance of said grant.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
