IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION declaring certain personal property from the Sheriff's Department as surplus and authorizing its donation to the Lake Lotawana Police Department. Intro RESOLUTION #10994, October 16, 1995 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Department has certain personal property, namely two 1990 Chevrolet Caprice patrol vehicles, VIN 1G1BL5473LA153578 and VIN 1G1BL5470LA154445, one Bayliner 19-foot boat model # 1950CX, Serial # BL1P91CXE787, and one Bayliner Calkins boat trailer model #GCX19- 3200 Serial # 1CXBP1911HS711358, that have become excess to the needs of the department; and, WHEREAS, the Jackson County Purchasing Director has determined this property to be surplus; and, WHEREAS, the Lake Lotawana Police Department has requested the donation of this property; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the specified personal property be and hereby is declared surplus; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Purchasing is hereby authorized to dispose of said surplus property by way of donation to the Lake Lotawana Police Department. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
