Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended that a license be granted to GBP Enterprises of Kansas City, KS to allow it to recover golf balls from water hazards at the Longview Lake Golf Course; and,
WHEREAS, in exchange for this license, GBP will turn over to the County 40% of the balls recovered, washed and ready for resale at the golf course's pro shop; and,
WHEREAS, the granting of this License is in the best interests of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, the attached License Agreement adequately sets forth rights and obligations of the parties; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached License Agreement with GBP Enterprises of Kansas City, KS.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
