BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RU" (Residential Urban) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RU a tract of land described as follows:
Legal Description:

A 30 ñ acre tract of land generally located north of U.S. 24 Highway, east of the Salem East Subdivision, between 18th Street North and Old Lexington Road and more specifically:

Part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 50, Range 31, Jackson County, Missouri described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 50, Range 31; thence West, 564.29 feet; thence North, 1617 feet; thence West 247.5 feet; thence North 17 degrees East, 319.65 feet; thence East, 722.7 feet to the East Section line; thence South along the said Section line, 1916.64 feet to beginning. Also, beginning at the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 20, Township 50, Range 31; thence West, 564.29 feet; thence South, 600 feet to the center of Old Lexington Road; thence Northeasterly along the center line of Old Lexington Road to a point where said road intersects the East line of said Section; thence North, 261 feet along said Section line to the point of beginning, except part in Highway.
