Body
WHEREAS, the Park's and Recreation Department's Fred Arbanas Golf Course at Longview Lake is in need of pro shop articles for resale; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.6, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing requests authorization for the purchase of pro shop articles for resale from Nike Golf and Acushnet/Titleist & FootJoy; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has determined that the items to be purchased are proprietary articles not available in a competitive market; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County twelve (12) month term and supply contracts with Nike Golf of Dallas, TX, and Acushnet/Titleist & FootJoy of Fairhaven, MA, for the purchase of pro shop articles for resale by the Parks and Recreation Department, as proprietary purchases; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
