Body
WHEREAS, the Zodiac Motorcycle Club has served as a positive social outlet for African American men with a long history of supporting charitable organizations throughout Jackson County and the State of Missouri; and,

WHEREAS, Zodiacs are not just people who ride motorcycles but those who celebrate, laugh and grieve together, they honor our veterans, first responders, police officers and honorable elected officials serving and guiding Jackson County; and,

WHEREAS, the Zodiacs place a brother's needs before their own wants and Zodiac members take care of each other, their families, as well as those in their communities who need their help; and,

WHEREAS, a Chapter of the Zodiac Motorcycle Club started in Kansas City, Missouri, expanded to Higginsville and Springfield, Missouri, as well as Atlanta, Georgia and Opelousas, Louisiana, as a result, they have been profiled in numerous news outlets for their charity work, but sometimes only the recipients of their assistance know who helped them, they do this charity work not because of glory but because they feel it is the right thing to do; and,

WHEREAS, the Zodiac Club was founded by Dallas Thibodeaux and Wilbert Neal and today is served by these dedicated Officers: President Omar Williams, Vice-President Larry Harris, Sgt of Arms Mike Orr, Secretary Frederick Murrell III and Treasurer Cecil Everidge. Members include Vertil Gause, Billy Walker, Booker Walker, Drew Carson, Fred Hall, Shawn Johnson, Aaron Ward, Howard White, Mike White, Anthony Brown, Shawn Brown and Karon Jenkins; and,
