Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Invitation to Bid No. 19-06 for the furnishing of plumbing services for use by the Facilities Management and Parks and Recreation Departments, for the upcoming twenty-four month period with two twelve-month options for extension; and,

WHEREAS, a total of 51 solicitations were distributed and 5 responses were received, one of which was a "no bid," with the following vendors presenting the lowest bids;

and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the contract be awarded to Rodriguez Mechanical, of Kansas City, KS, as the best overall bid as set forth in the attached recapitulation and analysis; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary, including future options to extend, to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using agencies are contained in the annual...
