Body
WHEREAS, Michelle Buckbee was recently named by the United States Achievement Academy as a United tates National Honor Roll Student; and,
WHEREAS, the Academy makes its selection of winners upon the recommendation of teachers, coaches, ounselors, and other qualified sponsors and by the standards set forth by the Academy; and,
WHEREAS, criteria for this prestigious honor includes a student's academic performance, interest nd aptitude, leadership qualities, responsibility, enthusiasm, motivation to learn and improve, ci izenship, attitude and cooperative spirit, dependability, and recommendation from school authority and,
WHEREAS, Michelle, a recent attendee of Central Middle School was nominated for this national awar by a counselor at the school, Eddie Kimbrough; and,
WHEREAS, Michelle is to be commended upon her selection as a recipient of this honor, for striving for excellence as a student, and for meeting the criteria required by the Academy; and,
WHEREAS, Michelle is the daughter of Gary and Judy Buckbee; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congrat lates Michelle Buckbee upon being named as a United States National Honor Roll Student by the Unit d States Achievement Academy.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of he Legislature.
