Body
WHEREAS, the Family Court and the Public Works and Records Departments have certain surplus vehicles and miscellaneous items of equipment that have become obsolete and unusable, further described and itemized on the lists attached hereto marked as Exhibits A, B, and C; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that said surplus property be declared obsolete and unusable; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the surplus property within the Family Court and the Public Works and Records Departments, further described and itemized in Exhibits A, B, and C, be and hereby is declared obsolete and unusable, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it pursuant to Chapter 11, Jackson County Code, 1984.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
