A RESOLUTION adopting the City of Independence's County Urban Road System priorities.

Body
WHEREAS, Jackson County and the City of Independence have an agreement to apply County road and bridge funds that are due to the City of Independence, Missouri, under the County Urban Road System (CURS) program to road and bridge projects within the City of general County interest and benefit; and,
WHEREAS, the Independence City Council by its Resolution 4338, dated November 18, 1996, prioritized and declared the following to be priority projects:
1. Little Blue Expressway (39th Street to 40 Highway)
2. Crysler Avenue (39th Street to 23rd Street)
3. Truman Road (M-291 Highway to Swope Drive)
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Independence CURS project list, as prioritized by the City of Independence, is hereby adopted for 1997.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
