Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance #3872, introduced January 22, 2007, the Legislature did appropriate fiscal year 2007 funds for a Cooperative Agreement between the County and the Soil and Water Conservation District of Jackson County; and,

WHEREAS, under the proposed agreement, the District will undertake conservation efforts which inure to the benefit and preservation of the road and bridge rights-of-way in the unincorporated County at a cost to the County not to exceed $19,092.00; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that a Cooperative Agreement between the County and the Soil and Water Conservation District of Jackson County be, and is hereby approved, and that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said agreement, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing is hereby authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the legislature.
