WHEREAS, the National Park Service has requested that the County extend the termination date of all existing Memorandum of Agreement; and,
WHEREAS, this modification is necessary to process future payments from the funds from Federal fiscal years of 2003 and 2004 for use in the Fort Osage Education Center project; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation recommends this modification; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Modification to the Agreement with the National Park Service.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
