Body
WHEREAS, the Legislature has been advised that the term of its nominee to the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA), Robert Gillihan, will expire on October 13, 1996; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature is required by 5238.060, RSMo, to submit to the Governor, a panel of three qualified persons, residents of Jackson County, for membership on the Authority; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that, pursuant to 238.060, RSMo, a nominating panel for membership on the KCATA, for a term to expire October 13, 2001, consisting of the following three qualified persons, residents of Jackson County, be and hereby is appointed:
1. _________Bob Gillihan__________
2. _________Randy Steinman________
3. _________Thomas Brown__________
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Legislature be and hereby is directed to submit this panel to the Governor of Missouri for final appointment.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
