Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 16492, dated January 7, 2008, the County Legislature did authorize the execution of agreements with outside agencies for anti-drug treatment activities and purposes, which included Truman Medical Center Behavioral Health; and,
WHEREAS, Truman Medical Center Behavioral Health has delivered outpatient treatment services in 2008, exceeding the original contracted amount by $130,000.00, and has requested additional funding in the amount of $100,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to cover these costs; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the fund balance of 2008 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the addendum.
