Body
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has certain surplus vehicles and miscellaneous items of equipment that have become obsolete and unusable, further described and itemized on the lists attached hereto and marked as Exhibit A; and,
 
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that said surplus property be declared unusable and sold at auction; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the surplus property within the Public Works Department, further described and itemized in Exhibit A, be and hereby is declared obsolete and unusable, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it by auction pursuant to Chapter 11 of the Jackson Cou+nty Code.
 
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
