BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RS" (Residential Suburban) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RS a tract of land described as follows:
DESCRIPTION: A 33 ñ acre tract of land generally located « mile north of Colbern Road on the west side of Howard Road and specifically described as a tract of land in the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 24, Township 48, Range 31 in Jackson County, Missouri being all of the east 973.5 feet of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 24, Township 48, Range 31 and also all of Lot 18 "Lawnwood 4th Plat" in Jackson County, Missouri.
Section 2. The preliminary plat "Meadows of Lawnwood," creating a 21-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved.
Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Brett Barnhart (RZ-98-127), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously failed to recommend approval of this application in a public hearing on December 17, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
