Body
WHEREAS, South Kansas City Office, LLC ("Developer"), is engaged in the development of a tract of land situated at 1421 E. 104th Street in Kansas City, Missouri, for the construction of the proposed South Kansas City Office Park and the development requires the construction of a connection to an existing sanitary sewer main; and,

WHEREAS, in connection with this project, Developer has requested certain easements through adjacent property within the boundaries of the Blue River Parkway which is owned by Jackson County, Missouri and maintained under the auspices of the Jackson County Department of Parks and Recreation for use as a public park; and,

WHEREAS, the easements requested by Developer, which are described in the attached Agreement, are a permanent sanitary sewer easement across land totaling 2,536.89 square feet in area, and a temporary construction easement across an additional 11,394.56 square feet of land; and,

WHEREAS, the staff of the Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department has reviewed the easement request and has no objections based upon the terms and conditions of the proposed easements; and,

WHEREAS, the granting of these easements is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the proposed Agreement with South Kansas City Office, LLC, in a form to be approved by ...
