WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No.196-98 for the furnishing of inmate clothing for use by the Department of Corrections; and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends that the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each item; and,

WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in awards to the following vendors:
