Body
WHEREAS, Ron Wilds won first place in the 40 and older masters category at the Missouri State Body Building Championships in Springfield, Missouri, and,

WHEREAS, Mr. Wilds won third place in the novice heavy weight competition, where he competed against bodybuilders of all ages, including teenagers, and,

WHEREAS, at the age of 49, Mr. Wilds was the oldest competitor at the event, and,

WHEREAS, the contest was his first sponsored by the National Physique Committee, and,

WHEREAS, Mr. Wilds has been a body builder for more than twenty years, and,

WHEREAS, Mr. Wilds credits his success to a healthy lifestyle and daily workouts, now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Ron Wilds on being the 40 and older masters category champion, and the third place winner of the novice heavy weight competition at the Missouri State Body Building Championships.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
