Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for engineering services in connection with the Intersection Improvements, Gregory Boulevard and Lee's Summit Road Project, No. 3083; and,
WHEREAS, TranSystems has performed extensive studies on the future improvements to the Lee's Summit Corridor, including the subject intersection; and,
WHEREAS, due to the firm's previous experience with these projects, the Director of Public Works recommends the execution of a professional engineering design services agreement with TranSystems for professional design services for Project No. 3083; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and hereby is, authorized to execute the attached agreement with TranSystems for professional engineering services, at a cost to the County not to exceed $157,400.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
