Body
WHEREAS, the City of Independence, Missouri, has requested a permanent drainage easement over a portion of the Little Blue Trace Park property, as is more fully described in the attached Easement Agreement, to facilitate the installation of a 42-inch storm sewer line; and,
WHEREAS, the County will receive an easement processing fee from the City in the amount of $2,646.80; and,
WHEREAS, the Acting Director of Parks and Recreation has determined that the permanent easement will have no adverse effect on park property and recognizes the necessity of the installation of the storm sewer line; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached Permanent Easement Agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of the County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
