Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200267 for the furnishing of park ranger uniforms for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two bids thereon, bids from the following:
VENDOR
Alamar Uniforms
Kansas City (Clay County), MO
Sid Boedeker Safety Shoe
Lenexa, KS
and,
WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to Alamar Uniforms of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid on the broadest variety of uniform items; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
