WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 124-98 for the furnishing and installation of materials for the reupholstery and padding of 70 auditorium chairs for the legislative assembly area and the repair and refinishing of furniture in the County Clerk's Office to Jennings Interiors of Kansas City, MO; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:

WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to Jennings Interiors of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid meeting specifications; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
