Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 47-02 for the furnishing of chain saw repair parts and sharpening for use by the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only three bids thereon, bids from the following:
VENDOR
Lawn & Leisure
Lee's Summit, MO
Smith Tools and Fasteners, Inc.
N. Kansas City, MO
Northeast Lawnmower
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to Lawn & Leisure of Lee's Summit, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the
attached recapitulation and analysis; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
