Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 14358, dated November 4, 2002, the Legislature did award a five-month term and supply contracts for the furnishing of mattresses, bedding, and linens for use by the Department of Corrections to Robinson Textiles of Gardena, CA, Tab Textile Co., Inc., of Opelika, AL, and Anchortex Corporation of West Berline, NJ, in the estimated aggregate amount of $32,000; and,
WHEREAS, there contracts were actually bid for a period of twelve months, but due to an error were only awarded for five months; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that they be extended for the full duration of the term specified in the bid specifications; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the above-referenced contracts be and hereby are extended to a full twelve months; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the contracts as extended.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
