WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Prospect Bridge Project, No. 2139-2, Tract 3, to acquire a right-of-way and drainage and temporary construction easements over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of Richard and Catherine Schweiger, in the amount of $62,400.00, said property being more fully described in the conveyance instruments, copies of which
are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and,
WHEREAS, the owners have agreed to convey said right-of-way and drainage and temporary construction easements, and to settle the claims for damages and have executed these conveyances in favor of the County in consideration of the total payment of $62,400.00; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the 1995 County Urban Road System Fund:

Unappropriated Surplus $62,400 Division of Administration Public Works Dept. County Urban Road System Kansas City City Projects $62,400
and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Manager of the Division of Finance issue a check payable to Richard and Catherine Schweiger for $62,400, and that the check be delivered to the Department of Public Works, Kaye Merkle, Engineering Division, for appropriate disposition.
