A RESOLUTION congratulating Jack Scott Bondon for his many accomplishments during his years at Rockhurst High School.

INTRODUCED BY Bob Spence, County Legislator
Body
WHEREAS, during his years at Rockhurst High School, Jack Bondon has earned many distinctions; and,
WHEREAS, Jack has not only been named a Finalist in the National Merit Scholarship competition, but has also won the state competition in humorous interpretation, finished third in state in poetry reading, and received the senior debate award at Rockhurst; and,
WHEREAS, for his senior service project, Jack spent three weeks at Children's TLC working with severely handicapped children; and,
WHEREAS, Jack also received the Rev. Carl G. Kloster, S.J. "Special R" award from the Rockhurst facility in recognition of his initiative and personal responsibility, for excellence attained in his school work, for his community service, and for his school spirit; and,
WHEREAS, Jack is to be commended for his many accomplishments throughout high school, including his 3.7 grade point average and taking honors courses in English, math, history, and science; and,
WHEREAS, Jack's future plans are to attend Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business; and,
WHEREAS, Jack is the son of Jack and Peggy Bondon; and
WHEREAS, Jack deserves the highest of praise for his accomplishments and for striving for academic and personal excellence; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Jack Scott Bondon for his many accomplishments while at Rockhurst High School.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
