Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources has awarded the County a storm water grant in the amount of $66,667.00 in connection with the County's Plymouth/York Street paved ditch project; and,
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the project is $227,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of the County that the grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources be accepted; therefore,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources be and hereby is accepted and that the Director of Public Works be and hereby is authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to accomplish the grant award.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
