Body
WHEREAS, KLM Marketing Solutions proposes to host the Jackson County Triathlon at Longview Lake on Sunday, August 27, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, KLM Marketing Solutions will pay a base fee to Jackson County in the amount of $6,000.00 for the use of Longview Lake beach and park as outlined in the attached Memorandum of Understanding; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature acknowledges the benefits to Jackson County communities of attracting an event to Jackson County which will promote health and fitness; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Memorandum of Understanding with KLM Marketing Solutions, at no cost to the County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
