WHEREAS, the County has a need for the purchasing of software equipment for departmental operations for use by the Sheriff's Office; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer of $20,000.00 is necessary to cover cost of the purchase of software equipment for use by the Sheriff's Department; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends the transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made within the 2005 Special Road and Bridge Fund:
