Body
WHEREAS, the County desires to purchase computers and monitors for use by the Prosecuting Attorney's Drug Court Unit; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Kansas City, Missouri, as the administrator of the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant ("LLEG") 2004-2005 monies, has obtained approval from the U.S. Department of Justice to utilize $7,214.00 in LLEBG grant monies for this purchase; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer of $7,214.00 within the 2004-2005 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant is necessary to cover the cost of these purchases; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made within the 2005 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
