Body
WHEREAS, in connection with the recent adoption of new food service establishment sanitation regulations by the Missouri Department of Health, the Director of Public Works recommends that chapter 40, Jackson County Code, be revised to incorporate the new state regulations; and,

WHEREAS, the recommended revision is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety, of the citizens of Jackson County, now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, as follows:

Section A. Enacting Clause.
Chapter 40, Jackson County Code, 1984, consisting of 28 sections, and schedule I thereto, are hereby repealed, and one new chapter and schedule enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as chapter 40 and schedule I, consisting of 25 new sections, to be known as sections 4000., 4001., 4010., 4030., 4031., 4032., 4133., 4034., 4035., 4036., 4037., 4038., 4039., 4040., 4041., 4042., 4043., 4044., 4045., 4046., 4047., 4048., 4049., 4050., and 4051., to read as follows:

SANITATION OF FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS

SCOPE
4000. Food Service Code Adopted.
The current edition, as amended, of the Missouri Department of Health's rules governing sanitation of food establishments, 19 CSR 20-1.025, and Section 3.0 of the Department of Health's guidelines, entitled "Food Protection," which together constitute the 1999 Missouri Food Code, are hereby adopted by reference and incorporated into this chapter as if fully set forth herein and shall be in full force and effect as the Fo...
