Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written proposals under Request for Proposal No. 36-09 for the furnishing of grant writing services for use by COMBAT; and,
WHEREAS, a total of five (5) notifications were distributed, and three (3) responses were received from the following:
BIDDER
Resource Development Institute, Kansas City, MO
Warren Adams-Leavitt, Kansas City, MO
Ramona Ellen King, Kansas City, MO
WHEREAS, after evaluation of the bids, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a contract to Resource Development Institute of Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of Request for Proposals No. 36-09, for the reason that it has submitted the best overall proposal; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and is hereby authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
