Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 75-97 for the furnishing of property casualty insurance coverage for the County; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:
VENDOR BID (Estimated Annual Premium)
Corporate Insurance Group, Inc. $149,463.00
Shawnee Mission, KS
Allendale Mutual Insurance Co. $155,954.00
Overland Park, KS
Haas & Wilkerson, Inc. $211,200.00
Shawnee Mission, KS
and,
WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to Corporate Insurance Group, Inc., of Shawnee Mission, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
